Instructions 1. Place Roller At Center Of Board. 2. Step On Low... End With One Foot. 3. Place Other Foot On High End And Start Balancing.Average Times Beginners - 2 To 5 Seconds, Athletes - 10 To 20 Seconds, Champions - 1 Minute And Over.

This ADULT BIG BONGO heavy solid wood "toy" measures: 34 Inches Long by 11 1/2 Inches Wide The board has both large original rubber treads and original three wood support roller guides on the bottom. Dark Wood finish is original. No cracks, chips, or breaks in wood and supports are firmly attached. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Only small partial decal rub off from age. Colors still bright.
The HEAVY SOLID ROLLER measures: 10 3/4 Inches Long by 5 3/4 Inches Diameter The roller is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and has NO cracks or splits. END DECALS STILL INTACT, BUT COLORS HAVE RUBBED OFF. Can easily be painted to restore the spiral designs.
TOTAL WEIGHT: 12 LBS
No signs of warping or weakening. Both parts of the Bongo Board are in excellent condition and work great.
The BONGO modern balance board was created by the famous WWII pilot Stanley Washburn Jr. It was inspired by his meeting with children on Africa's Gold Coast - the kids were playing with a plank and log. Washburn created his own version as a gift for his daughter. The Bongo Board was first sold in 1952 and became a very popular toy of the 1950's and 1960's. Patent was applied for March 18, 1953 and granted in 1956.
First mentioned in November 1953 issue of SKI Magazine published in Norwich Vermont " Bongo Board Causes Stir" as an aid for training.
