Original Description:
FARIES ART DECO CHROME AND BRASS TABLE LAMP probably 1930-40s. Most likely made as a Jewelers Lamp.  A very nice example of an Art Deco / Machine Age Modern Faries Chrome & Brass table/desk lamp/light. The lamp is marked FARIES MFG CO D-945 in the cast base. Solid Brass & Polished Chrome with cast iron base The highly polished Brass and Chrome finish is in excellent condition with minimal wear. This lamp is in very nice condition. The interior socket and wir...ing were replaced. The switch in the base is original and works as it should.  There is one minor kink on the inside bend of the lamp as shown in the pictures. There are a few small spots of pitting. The acrylic globe has a few minor scratches. The added cork bottom is velcro'd on to protect your furniture.
