Pablita Velarde signed corn maiden tile, southwest, Native American design. This tile is signed by the artist, but not the maker. I'm not sure who the maker of this tile is. There are a few others with different designs, signed similarly. It is similar in execution to tiles made by Desert House Crafts and Gila Pottery (The McKusicks). It is in excellent condition with a small nick to one corner and a few nail marks to the cork from when it was framed. 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 x 1/2.
