1) A (1) single book of 23K-Transfer Type Genuine Gold Leaf (5 sheets inside)Transfer (Patent) Gold Leaf: Dimensions: 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″
The individual gold leaves are pressed onto a tissue paper. One uses patent gold, also called tempest gold. The tissue paper is larger than the gold leaf, thus it may be more easily handled. It is also possible to cut the pat...ent leaves into desired shapes/forms with scissors. The leaves are placed onto the prepared surface and carefully rubbed with cotton wool. The tissue paper may then be removed as the gold leaf will adhere to the surface/object. For exterior gilding, 23.75K up to 24K gold leaf.
2) One 2 fl. Oz. of L.A. GOLD LEAF Quick-Dry Size (adhesive)A clear Oil Base gilder’s adhesive (size) for fast leaf work. It affords excellent durability, flexibility and open time for interior and exterior gilding applications. The L.A. Gold Leaf Quick Dry Size gilding size will achieve tack in approximately 1½ hours and the tack will remain for approximately the same period of time. Total hard dry occurs in about 36 hours. It should be noted that tack and dry times are subjective to the gilder’s technique, thickness of the film and are approximate depending on the ambient temperature and humidity when applied.
3) One 2 fl. Oz. of L.A. GOLD LEAF Yellow PrimerL.A. Gold Leaf Yellow Primer for gilding and graphic arts are finely ground pigmented products that eliminate the requirement for separate applications of a sealer, gesso or bole. They produce a smooth surface requiring no or very light sanding. This is not for use as an architectural coating. The L.A. Gold Leaf Primer will seal the surface providing excellent adhesion for gilding and permit a high burnish, with a minimum of rubbing, when built up with multiple coats. The primer is manufactured utilizing premier resins exhibiting excellent adhesion and moisture resistance. The pigments utilized are recommended for gilding applications due to their lasting performance and color retention. The L.A. Gold Leaf Primer is excellent for use on exterior items such as weather vanes and caducei made of copper, bronze, steel or iron.
4) Gilding BrushUltra soft stripple brush - White Bristle-ideal for lifting or applying leaves to surfaces. They are great for pushing paint out of the way without leaving lines or streaks. It will brush off without damaging the Gold Leaf.You can brush vertical, horizontal or diagonal and the gold will show the direction of the brushing, without damaging the surface.

Wiping Cloth is ideal for cleaning surfaces before and after applying the gold leaf. This item is excellent for use with solvents and stains. It is one of the highest quality wiping cloth and lint free cotton for the finest finishing.
