One pint tin of Planters Hi-Hat Peanut Oil, manufactured by Planters EdibleOil Company. Very nice red and blue graphics.Picture of Mr. Peanut and a pineapple salad on the front and back. One sidehas a picture of a plate of donuts and a frying pan that reads "Better for Cooking; Best for Digestion." The other side shows a plate of potato wedges and a cruet of oil and says "Superior for Salads; Excellent for Frying." The top is in excelle...nt condition and has a pour spout that swivels to open and close the can. The colors are vivid without fading. There is a small scratch on the front that measures about 3/4" (see picture 7). Picture 8 shows a dent in the back of the can at the very bottom. The right side of the can has a very minor scratch at the top (see last picture). Overall in great condition considering the age. (1940's??) Tin measures 5-1/8" tall, 3" wide, and 2-1/8" deep.
