This is a large 100+ year old antique spelter metal parlor statue featuring a Marley horse and groomer. Overall a very nice looking solid antique statue with light age where to the ebonized or black painted finish. There are no serious structural or cosmetic is...sues to report though it should be noted that the horse is left front leg has a crack Repair which is holding firm and of little cosmetic concern. Marked on the base by the artist COUSTOU. Overall a great looking Victorian era extra large sized mantle statue that is begging for a new home.
