This rare Polish celluloid was sold in the United States by Kimport Dolls. The last picture shows the Kimport label on the inside of the vest that reads: "Kimport Dolls, Independence, MO, This doll was made in Poland." The doll has a celluloid head and arms and a cloth stuffed body. The head features exquisite modelling, including an open mouth with teeth, and beautifully painted blue eyes. The patterned scarf covers a molded brown bob. The back of the neck is marked with ASK in ...a triangle and PR Zast underneath. The doll is dressed in a woven dress and apron, cloth boots, and a "leatherette" vest trimmed with felt applique. This is a vintage doll. The clothing is age soiled: PLEASE look carefully at the pictures. There is a tiny celluloid dimple on the very tip of the doll's nose (zoom in on pictures) . The white mark on the front of the apron appears to be the remnants of a sticker tag of some kind. I have not tried to remove it but I think it will come off. No odors. Stand not included. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
