This tureen is quite large. It makes a wonderful centerpiece and looked beautiful in my china cabinet for 30 plus years. It was purchased in an antique shop in NH. I don't know the exact age? The ladle was glued (that's how it was when I purchased it). Otherwise it's in excellent condition and ready for you next soup or stew. It has an embossed grape pattern. The tureen itself measures 15" from handle to handle. The opening is 8" x 10" and serving interior height is approx 6". Th...e finished height with the base and cover is approx 13". This is a very heavy, solid piece.
