RARE!!!!! Antique Vintage "GUARDENE" COPPER & BRASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER" - for your consideration, this is an Antique Copper and Brass Fire Extinguisher manufactured by the very famous Pyrene Manufacturing Company" which was the signature line of fire extinguisher for this famous company, out of Newark New Jersey, U.S.A. The copper and brass literally shine like a mirror and while it clearly has some dings and dents, because it was used to fight fires, I was able to c...lean and polish the copper and brass so that it shines. This piece of fire fighting history also has its original bronze cap. It has history throughout and shows its scars from previously fighting fires. THE ANTIQUE IS EMPTY. DO NOT MISS OUT, THIS IS A BEAUTY!!!!

This beauty is very old as it is a copper & brass extinguisher is very unique because as it is styled with its copper rivets along the backside which ages this style of extinguisher. TRULY RARE and ONE OF A KIND with the high gloss red and black enamel paint restored!!! As the pictures so, this one is polished to the point that you can see yourself in the copper and brass. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!! The original extinguisher hose is still with this antique and I have polished the brass connections to a mirror finish. The pictures tell the true story of this beautiful antique piece of fire fighting history. This is a RARE extinguisher as it has a beautiful copper shell body with the original brass embossed plates. The original high gloss red and black enamel paint for the brass embossed plates has also been restored as well. I have restored the original paint on the front brass plates with high gloss black and red enamel paint, and the cap was restored to its bronze condition. Everything on this piece just shines and tells a fantastic story of fire fighting history. The Underwriter's Laboratories Serial Number is a ridiculously low 5-digit "22180" and dates this antique to between 1898 to 1904. This is a very low serial number and very old antique, it would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
Please, please, please look at all the photographs. I have shined this antique as well as possible but this was a tool to fight fires and condition of the copper shows it has been used to fight fires. There are a few hardly noticeable blemishes, but this is not mint, and the copper body and brass embossed plates shine. As seen within the pictures, this antique has signs of use to fight fires in the form of dings and blemishes. This is an actual piece of fire fighting history and it does have some signs of use as a true tool of fire fighting history would. Some of the internal liquids got on the metal at some point as caused some hazing but it still shines beautifully, as can be seen in the pictures. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!
This will be a great centerpiece or conversation piece. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!!!!! This antique has the copper rivets along the crown and the back, and they are shined. The construction and serial number of this beautiful antique dates this extinguisher to the late 1800'sto very early 1900's.
The copper body and the rivets along the back are all present, in great condition, and clearly shown in the photographs. I have polished the brass connectors to a mirror finish as well. The extinguisher measures 24" tall with an 8 and 1/4" diameter. The copper body had been shined and the true condition is shown in all of the photographs. There are minor blemishes to this real piece of fire fighting history. Any blemishes are seen in the photographs, as this was a piece of fire fighting history and not a repop piece, so please keep that in mind. Given this antique's age, the condition of this beauty is remarkable. Also, this antique has its original hose and the brass connectors have been polished. Overall, this is a truly beautiful piece.

The extinguisher is EMPTY and the internal ingredients and contents have been removed. That being said, as is depicted in the photographs, if you want to turn this into a lamp the top cap is easily unscrewed from this antique in case you wish to make additional alterations. The bronze cap, with the attachment has been restored and polished to its bronze condition, and is excellent condition as well. Please do not expect that this antique is in perfect condition and was a piece of fire fighting equipment. It will naturally have some signs of wear and tear that comes with age and are clearly depicted in the pictures. I can do wonders with cleaning, polishing and restoring this antiques, but some dents and dings cannot be undone, so here you go. This is not a REPOP PIECE and is an authentic piece of fire fighting history. LOOK AT THE PICTURES, AS THEY TELL THE TRUE STORY AS TO THE CONDITION OF THIS ANTIQUE.
