WW2 Japanese Navy Uniform - Jumper/Cap/Scarf - Vet Bring Back

I've been collecting for over 55 years and it is now time to let most of my personal collection go. This uniforms was acquired many years ago. I am listing these items as collectibles. As such, the only size information given in the description are those marked on the items. The photos really tell the whole story so please review them carefully. I use the eBay Global Shipping Program and overseas shipping costs will be included with the invoice.Offered here is an original WW2 Japanese Navy uniform group consisting of a dark navy wool middy, light blue and white cotton button on collar for the middy, a black brushed cotton ceremonial neck scarf and a dark navy wool "pork pie" type cap with black silk and gold embroidered tape. All of these items are bring back from a US Navy CB vet and were acquired as a group in the U.S. Unusual to find this nice a complete group of a WW2 Japanese enlisted navy service uniform. Please make no mistake, this is really a been there uniform group so the items will show some wear from use.The group is as follows:(1) Uniform Middy (Jumper): The winter service middy/jumper is made of dark navy (almost black) wool. It is very well constructed and has been issued and used in the field. There are no holes tears or moth damage that I can see. The wool obviously has a worn feel to it. There are no field repairs that I can see. The navy collar is covered with a button down collar of light blue and white cotton. This is also well used and has some fading and a little discoloration to the white. All buttons are present and in good workable condition. There is a cotton neck tie device on the front of the jumper. The jumper is lined with greyish-black brushed cotton fabric - both the body and both sleeves are fully lined. There is a rank insignia machine sewn to the right sleeve. There is a very small (1 inch) tear in the lining just below the ear of the collar. The inside of the jumper has a fabric tag sewn in with both printed and written characters.(2) Enlisted Uniform Cap: The enlisted cap is commonly referred to as a "pork pie" type cap is made of dark navy wool. Like the jumper, it is well made. The cap is in good condition for its age. There is a small field repair to the seam at the rear of the cap. The cap is lined with black cotton. The sweatband portion is lined with a more adorned type of cotton fabric - with chrysanthemums. The cap has been issued and well used. The lining is faded and there is some soiling to the lining and the chin strap. The fabric chin strap is sewn into the cap. The black silk band around the cap is in excellent condition as is adorned with gold embroidered characters on the front and twin anchors on the rear portion.(3) Naval Scarf: I'm not sure what the significance of this scarf is but I have seen photos of WW2 Japanese sailors wearing it around their shoulders - perhaps for official ceremonies. It is a nicely made double layered black cotton. It has been issued and used but shows no damage or soiling. There is a fabric tag sewn onto the scarf.I only use PayPal for payment unless other arrangements are made before you bid.
