This is an Antique Jumbo Peanut Butter Glass Elephant Container. It is quite old and quite rare. , Frank Tea & Spice Co. Bank. The pressed glass container has no damage but there is rust on the lid. The rust is mainly found on the inside of the lid. Inside the container are the original peanuts. When the screw on top is removed, one can still smell the peanuts. I would not want to eat them though.
The pressed glass container has raised letters, Peanut Butter on one si...de and Jumbo on the other side. The front of the elephant is ever so lovely as it actually looks like an elephant with the trunk and indented eyes. The mouth sides are raised.
Printed on closure "Write for New Peanut Butter Recipes" & "The Frank Tea & Spice Co Cinti O.". Slotted, Lithograph, bottom with metal closure.
The lovely elephant bank measures 3" high x 1 2/4" diameter base.
