On offer is this antique, ceramic, multi-color, original, PRATTWARE jar or "pot lid" as they are more commonly referred to. This lid features a young couple....and the lady seems a bit reluctant, but the young man is using all his charm and persuasion to convince her that he is her "man"! As you can see, the lid is called "Persuasion" and it measures slightly over 4" in diameter and the complete jar stands 1 3/4" tall when the lid is in place, on top of the base section. This lid... is rated as SCARCE in Mortimer's reference book. This piece is offered at far below the low-end valuation in the reference book!
