Original Description:
Offered is an Early Antique Salt Glazed Stoneware Preserve Jar - Canning Jar or Fruit jar. - AAFA Color is a beige- grey. Size is 7 1/2”T X 6”W across the top opening & 4 1/8”W across the bottom. Inside jar is a dark brown. Condition - this crock has no cracks, no flaking , no scaling or crazing! There are 3 small chips on the lip edge. Please refer to photos. The spoons in last photo are an example of how I display mine & are not included in this offer. I use mine to hold my ute...nsils. Preserve jars come in various shapes & sizes and make for an interesting collection. In the 1900’s glass canning jars replaced the stoneware preserve crock like this one!Thus crock will look great displayed in your country, primitive or farmhouse home.
