A diminutive little object comprising a tray like base upon four small bun feet. This supports a triangular frame like stand with perforated beams which would seem to suggest this was made to hold something? 60 things if each hole held something?At the front a pair of armorial crests and below a Napoleonic era Officer figure, a stack of cannonballs a barrel and cannon? Impressed is the makers mark LEROUXMaker perhaps Gaston Leroux?To be perfectly honest I have no idea what this could ...be- or for? I'm offering it as is, with some rubbing wear to the gilt plating as shown. The piece stands 100mm and is 88mm in length. Its weight is 74 Grams.
