A handsome and genuine, scarce and exotic Bird Of Paradise. Dates to the late Victorian to Edwardian era, over 100 years old. this is the real bird, the colorful male bird's head and his gorgeous neck and throat feathers are a brilliant vivid absinthe green that glows. He has his original beak and two glass eyes. Sturdy wire inside so you can mount him on your hat or display. He was displayed nested in a froth of French silk and gilt cording ...and net, which is in fair shape but is included. Bird himself is very good. A real prize for any millinery collection.
