Original Description:
Merrit the Queen of Fall. I made Merrit out of a heavy canvas fabric. She has a dried pumpkin stem for her trunk. I used fabric scraps for her eyes and stitched her nose and mouth. I used grungy cheesecloth for her scarf with straw tucked in. Her pumpkin bucket is paper mache and painted white.Tucked inside is some dried corn husks. The dress is homespun checked black and gold. Merrit stands on a black wooden platform.Merrit is about 16 inches tall from top of pumpkin stem to bottom of... platform and about 6 inches wide.
