An antique 19th century brass shop sign. Inscribed to the plaque....GOODRICH TAILOR & c. We would probably now use the ETC abbreviation. So rather charming in its format. Made of good gauge brass, with four pierced mounting holes to each corner. Makers mark stamped to the lower front centre. The plaque when turned over, is obviously repurposed from an earlier brass sign, but still 19th century. A rather nice piece of social history to display within the home situation, or for a wid...er audience.Size:- 25 cm x 16.5 cm
