Lovely set of 4 Antique Thumb back Windsor ChairsThese chairs have been used in a dining room for many yearsAppear to be maple, decorated with a salmon colored red paint underneath and black on top. Nicely worn showing the red undertones. A black decorative painted pattern was also applied to the seat and back. See photos. Signed underneath on all 4 by the maker Euphemus Lahaie which according to my research was Canadian, born 1879. Fabulous patina and shape.Meaures 34.5" hig...h to highest part of back by 15" wide measured across seat front by 15" deep measured from seat back to front. Depth of seat where you would sit is approx 13" deep.See photos
