RARE ANTIQUE KESTNER 161 GERMAN BISQUE DOLL HAIRLINE IN BACK OF HEAD

This auction is for a very nice, less commonly seen 161 / H 12 Kestner doll head only. Facial features are beautifully painted! She has fixed brown eyes and a few remaining real eyelashes. Condition: Old stable hairline crack in the back of the head (starts at the top of the head and stops at the top of the left ear). Easily covered with wig in place. No other damage to the bisque that I can see. No eyelid chips. Small factory-made hairlines where the ears attach to the side of the hea...d. Paper tongue had been replaced with a piece of felt. Inside of the head could use some cleaning! Please see all photos for details.Approximate Measurements: 6” tall from the top of the head to the bottom of the neck opening. Head circumference is about 12”. Neck circumference is about 6” (needs torso with a neck diameter of 1.9” - 2”). Needs about a 17” body to make about a completed 21” - 22” doll.Please see photos for details as they are part of the description and email with any questions.
