Up for auction is this large cranberry glass globe for an oil or gas lamp . It stands 5 inches high, 7 inches max diameter and the fitter flange is 5 inches diameter. The fitter is flanged, designed to be secured by screws or clips as used on some gas and oil lamps.There are NO chips, cracks or burst bubbles and the shade rings when tapped.These were fitted to some English Wanzer patent chimneyless oil lamps and a variety of early gas lamps.Please note, the Wanzer lamp... in last 2 pictures is for demonstration only and is not included in the sale.. Will be well packed for safe arrival
