Beautiful Federalist Pembroke style nightstand or sewing drop leaf table.I am not 100% on wood type as Mahogany is another possibility, but is very close to Rosewood and a very heavy piece. Hand crafted in the 1800's. The original finish is in excellent condition on this antique piece of furniture. Two drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. One pull on the the lower drawer has some damage.
