Hinged top folds down to provide writing surface.This also allows more room for person's knees when sitting at desk.
Fold down front and opens to large area for storage.There are no drawers or cubicles in this area.

Key holes but NO KEY!
Originally was green but was antiqued gold over 30 years ago.Handpaint...ed design on front as shown.
Matching antique gold chair with rushed seat in excellent condition.
Height approximately 37 inches to top of decorative back board on top of desk.Width approximately 31 inches at widest.Depth approximately 15 1/2 inches.
The chair is approximately 37 inches tall to highest part of back.Seat measures 17 X 15 1/2 inches.
Both desk and chair appear to be in excellent condition.
Perfectly sized accent piece for the foyer, bedroom, etc.
Useful too as a working ladies secretary!
