Scarce vintage two-sided advertising sign for Old Taylor bourbon whiskey, made by Old Taylor Distillery Company, Frankfort, Kentucky, circa 1950s, silkscreen on wood, in the form of an old-fashioned tavern or inn sign with a colorful image of a lawn jockey and the slogan "Sign of a Good Host, Old Taylor, Bottled in Bond, " approx. 16-5/8" x 8-1/2" x 5/8". A few minor scuffs and surface marks, otherwise very good, attractive condition overall.The sign originally included a hanging brack...et and a small pendant sign at the bottom intended to be customized with the name of a bar or restaurant (neither of which is present, though all four screw eyes remain).Quite uncommon, with only a handful of examples known.PAYMENT/SHIPPING: Successful U.S. bidder pays for carefully packed Parcel Select shipping (international bidders: inquire for rates); PayPal.
