This is a great little Victorian era marble top side table with mahogany Eastlake style base, made in Italy in the late 1870s to early 1890s. It has clearly been extremely well cared for, as it is free of any dents, scratches, or splits of any significance, and still stands straight and solid. At over 130 years old, the only “wrinkle” of age to be found is perhaps the varnish, which is no doubt better than one might expect 130-year-old varnish to be, and still going strong, with on...ly a minute amount of flaking or wear. Please see pictures closely and carefully for condition, as they are a large part of this description. There is a slight discoloration around the center of the marble top, but it is still nice and smooth, and free of any cracks or chips.Standing at 17 3/4” tall with a 14” diameter top, use it for an end table or chair side table, or use it as a plant stand, Nice table, and a great value!Free local pick up if in the New England area, or specifically southern New Hampshire or Eastern Massachusetts area.
