This is an antique gorgeous, frothy handmade lace wedding hanky in pristine condition, 13" square. The very wide 4.5" scalloped bobbin lace border, from which country I'm not sure, is so delicate with long ferns and scrolling design. Please look at the close ups of the wonderful tiny patterns within patterns. The center is a fine linen scalloped round which looks like a big flower in the middle of the ferns. There are no stains or flea bites, in fact I can't find one break in the lace.... I love the way the corners project out further with the long ferns, each with 3 different leaf patterns and wider strap like connectors to the center. This is an exquisite and pristine elaborate antique wedding handkerchief.
