Original Description:
This is a rare small scale resist and handblocked floral cotton stripe, perfect for doll dressing and/or quilters. Fabric has been carefully unpicked from a French quilt c. 1780. Good to excellent condition. Note old strands of cotton thread on back. Right hand side is all overprinted 18th century selvage.
