~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~This lovely printed cotton is an antique French curtain, dating c 1890~ What a stunning panel! This lovely curtain panel is a beautifully printed cotton!! The left facing side has the most beautiful gathered and hand stitched ruffle that runs the length on the left ~*~ The ground tone is a deep, saturated true red. The printing is a gorgeous pink tone ~ this panel is a medium weight cotton. The top has the original gathered trim and there are ...the original loops and one of the original very heavy metal rings used for hanging. the bottom has a lovely hand stitched hem. This textile would have been part of a bedding set ~ stunning, graceful design. ~*~ ~*~ ~ ideal for hanging, window treatments, pillows, lampshades, and many decorative projects! ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ( piece 1)
MEASUREMENTS : ~this lovely fabric measures 35 inches wide ( including the 2 inch ruffle) by 68 inches long ~ at the top, where it is gathered, it measure 16 inches wide, including the 2 inch ruffle.
CONDITION : I've freshly laundered this lovely fabric and it's ready to use. There are some tiny scatted holes here and there, visible when held to the light and a very small spot that will develop into a small dime sized hole, on the edge near the ruffle. There are some very small pale marks that didn't fully wash. Very gently faded with time ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~
