1800s Antique Brown Silk Embroidered Shawl With Knotted Fringe To Wear Or Piano. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This silk shawl is beautiful! brown silk with exquisite embroidery around the edge.The knotted fringe is in fantastic condition! This could be used as an actual shawl for reeanactment or as a piano shawl.This is from early 1800s to about civil war period.The silk has some age spots which I have pictured. Also has one spot that looks like someone tried to clean a spot on ...it. That spot has a courser feel with a small tear in the middle. As a seamstress myself that tear would be a very easy fix since it’s not a ragged tear however I’m selling this as is.The shawl is laid out on a king size bed to show how big this is.Any questions let me know!!
