For your consideration, this TRUE antique/vintage 1930s/40s handmade patchwork quilt in an old RARE pattern called Drunkards Path -- the colors are not showing up right due to an overcast day, but this quilt is a lovely Wedgewood Blue and White -- SUPER-SWEET, and will work well with FARMHOUSE decor! -- all old 100% cotton fabrics -- nice straight edges with slightly curved corners, and narrowly binded in blue and backed in the same solid white cotton used on the front -- VERY light-weight batting which is definitely 100% hand-combed cotton -- the quilt measures 64" x 70", and was totally hand-pieced and hand-quilted in generous straight rows at 6-7 tiny stitches per inch -- everything well-executed and quite ELEGANT for this time period -- in VERY EXCELLENT antique condition -- light wear/gentle usage -- strong, sturdy, everything intact -- colors CRISP and VIBRANT -- NICE and CLEAN with some light surface soil and a few small age spots (mostly on backside) -- nothing else to report -- these old beauties are getting harder and harder to find -- this quilt would be PERFECT for country farmhouse or Victorian decors, laid across your bed, stacked in your quilt cabinet, or CELEBRATED by displaying on the wall as a great piece of TEXTILE ART! -- a true collector's piece....and the price is right!
