Vintage, previously framed, Sampler, dated 1854, measuring 14” x 11.5”. The source is not known & I’d say the condition is poor. I hope someone might fall in love with this beautifully stitched sampler, with the name Ann Easewood, or that it might be of interest for historical or family genealogical purposes. It was almost certainly stitched when the child named was two years old, rather than by her, or maybe she was 24 years old? There is evidence, shown in the last two photogra...phs & round the edges, of it having previously been glued to a mount or frame. As I have described it as being in poor condition, it will be rolled carefully & dispatched in a tube, to give some protection, without being folded. It will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class Parcel post.
