HARD TO FIND SEIKO MELODIES IN MOTION CLOCK WITH HI-FI - QXM109ZRH - WORKS GREAT!
This highly collectible Seiko clock is one of the hardest to find of the Melodies In Motion Clocks.
The frame is oval in a simulated wood grain pattern brown over silver tone trimmed in gold tone. It has figures playing musical instruments inset in archways. The one at the top in blue is playing a violin and sways side to side as the music plays. The disk behind him rotates. The two smal...ler figures in orange and red are located on either side of the face of the clock at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. They are both playing trumpets. These figures do not move. The three seated musicians on the bottom revolve constantly, spinning circles, whether the music is playing or not. The one in orange plays a flute, the one in purple plays a cello and one in red plays the accordion. The design on the bottom part of the clock show castles in the clouds. The bells rotate around the center clock face as the music plays and always stay in a vertical position.
This is a beautiful clock, works perfectly as it was designed and is in very good overall condition. The revolving three on the bottom truly adds to its attractiveness. We check the clocks out thoroughly and try to describe all items accurately and mention any and all defects that we have found. There are a couple of very minor scuffs on the brown frame and on the gold at the bottom part of clock. See photos. There appears to be light tiny transparent spots inside the glass, may be light dust on the inside of the casing, but very faint and you cannot see unless you look really hard in bright light to see them. No way does this detract from the beauty and performance of this clock. They are 'invisible' as you look at it hanging on the wall. I tried to capture these in the photos, but they are so faint the camera could not pick up. I priced lower due to this. The brown back and sides have some scuffs, but this does not show when hanging on the wall. The first photo is of the original box. This box is not included. I posted it so you can get a more clear view of the clock.
