This is a PRECISION model George Nicoll Vintage Hickory Shaft, flanged putter. It was forged from rustless steel in Levin, Kingdom of Fife, Scotland around 1930-1940.The putter has almost no markings from wear. The head is tight and could be played if the owner did not want to display the club ... it is that nice!The forging stamps are strong. The head has a bright patina. The shaft grain is strong throughout and the shaft fits the hosel precisely. The original grip bears the Nicoll Ha...nd of Peace logo. It is fine cordovan colored leather wrap style that fits the hand without slippage. The grip is very slightly loose but is not objectionable. The grip end cap is intact and secured with a screw to the hickory shaft.
