March of Comics #171 ( Oswald ) & #172 ( TARZAN ) RARE DOUBLE Anomoly !!! 1958 GORDON SCOTT cover
VERY GOOD+
March of Comics was a promotional marketing idea of the fifties and sixties. Difficult to find, some issues even rare, since they were giveaways of the businesses that distributed them and often discarded by the children who read them.
In addition to pictures of the com...ic itself, I've included information from the Overstreet Comic book Price Guide and the Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics. This comic(s) is an anomaly, much like a double-stuck coin. These two comics should have been separated before they were released. That didn't happen. What we have here is a genuine comic book curiosity, a RARE FIND. The condition of the comic(s) is VERY GOOD+. There are stress issues on the spine, minor fold mark across the Oswald portion, evidence of something sharp on the inside and outside back cover, and some off-white to tanning of the inside cover(s). Inside pages, however, are bright white.
Pricing this RARE comic(s) is highly subjective. I'll share my formula with you. I'm adding the VG+ price of both comics indiviually and adding a premium for the rarity of this issue(s). You may disagree; I'll listen to anything you have to add.
Overstreet Price Guide Very Good+ value: About $27.I am listing all of my personal comic collection, including my complete Tarzan March of Comics collection. It will happen slowly; it takes a lot of time to review gradings, photograph and/or scan the comics, and write the listings. The bulk of my collection is Tarzan and Classics Illustrated with a lot of other items for good measure. All my comics have been stored in file cabinets, in my smoke-free, pet-free home.USPS MEDIA MAIL. International buyers will likely pay eBay additional postage.
