REMARKABLE CIRCA 1930s GILT-BRONZE & ENAMEL STRUT CLOCK
SANDOZ, SWITZERLAND

A rare oversize desk or mantle clock of premier Swiss design incorporating quality materials and workmanship. Amazing enamel panel of foil-backed blue shamrocks on a black ground. Huge Arabic numbers painted cream about an incised chapter ring on matte gilt ground. Thick bevelled edge crystal.
High-grade 8-day movement with 15 jewels and three adju...stments, signed Sandoz.

Movement checked over, train lubricated and regulated. Running and holding accurate time.

7 7/8" high x 7 7/8" wide; weighs an impressive 3.1 pounds!
