... Offering a large vintage Papier/Paper Mache Cat -- artist signed on bottom Mateos - Tonala Jal - Mexico. Adorable "Fat Cat" blending Mexican folk art sensibility with Mid Century Mod. Beautifully painted. Delicate and whimsical profusion of botanicals decorate the body -- giving added meaning to the iconic "Flower Power" mantra of the day. In very good vintage condition -- minor paint loss on the back of the head. Minor wear commensurate with age. Colors are bright and vibrant. Finish retains lustrous glaze. LARGE impressive size, measuring approximately 15" long, 12 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide. #TE Once the item is purchased, it will be shipped promptly within three business days of receiving cleared payment. We ship Monday through Friday. We generally ship USPS Priority Mail, Parcel Post or Fed Ex. If the item fits in a Manila envelope, it will be shipped First Class.
