These are classic key 1960's SA issues, with the first full appearance of HIM, who will of course later become better known as Adam Warlock, one of the most important characters in the Jim Starlin Thanos Cosmic Cube and Infinity Gauntlet stories. And these h...ave become incredibly hot books as a result of the Avengers Infinity War and Guardians Of The Galaxy movies. Classic stories and artwork by the legendary team of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby (legendary creators of the Amazing Spiderman, the Fantastic Four, Thor, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, and countless other classic Marvel characters and teams). Issue #165 has general cover wear with soiling and creasing, with some heavier crease lines at the lower right side of the front cover (please note that these did not really show in the scan), and a slight spine split near the very top edge of the spine. It also does not really show in the scan that it looks like there was a tape pull near the top left of the "H" in THOR on the front cover. It looks like a little bit of red and black marker may have been used to fix it, as there is some slight bleed through on the inside front cover. Issue #166 has general cover wear with some spine stress and soiling, and a crease line near the bottom right corner of the front cover. A great read, and a great way to get two of the most classic early Thor issues without paying a fortune for them. These are great key 1960's issues, and an outstanding SA Marvel addition to any collection.
