Lovely Green Elna Grasshopper Machine Model W55, Type 500970, the Swiss version of the Featherweight! I learned to sew on one of these and it was wonderful, your feet did not need to reach the floor due to the knee bar controlled start and run. Fabulous little compact machine to collect or spruce up to use. Please view all the pictures, especially note the last two pictures are collages, one showing the excellent way the case integrates with machine and becomes a sewing table. The... last collage picture shows all four sides of the metal case.
This machine has sat in a basement for many years so it may need service/grease/oil. Motor runs well and super quiet (runs slow at first, but I believe the belt may need tightening). The knee bar is short, longer fold out extension portion is missing but it does not affect function of machine start and sew. One of the rubber feet melted (as can be seen in picture of the machine bottom) the machine does not wobble, though. This sale includes just what you see -- machine, power cord and case. As far as the original parts that would have come with machine, there is no accessory box, no bobbins, no manual (but I will provide an on line link to a manual) and no oil can.
