Absolutely gorgeous pair of hand-painted milk glass and cast metal victorian ewers / vases. They are a pair (I realise my pictures don't really show this - I'll try to post one of them together tomorrow).
I purchased these from a (very expensive) antique shop in Edinburgh many years ago but the time has now come for me to pass them on to someone else who will love them and give them pride of place in their home.
Pictures describe them much better than I can. No cr...acks or marks or breaks that I can see. Likewise I never found any makers marks but I have a suspicion (based only on speculation and looking at other items) that they may be Bristol glass - if there are any experts out there who can enlighten me, I'd be most grateful.
Sizewise, the vases are 40cm tall by 10cm diameter at their widest point.
