ANTIQUE WOVEN SPLIT OAK HUGE BASKET MARKET GATHERING FIELD CARVED HANDLE 26”. For your consideration this Huge Early Split Oak Gathering Basket with a Carved Handle. I have never seen one so large and this unusual sized basket measures 26” long, 16” wide, 11” tall at its sides. Probably dates back to the 1870's and is a definite survivor. The basket is in very nice original condition. It is sturdy and strong with some unnoticeable breaks on the corners (see images). A beautiful... unusually large early basket for your decor or collection. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
