A...ndrew Wald created sand bottles near Yellowstone starting in 1888. Until 1893 he sold his sand bottles through his friend Ole Anderson's shop - and in 1893 he opened a tent to sell his bottles under his own name. This dates this bottle to the early 1890s (or possibly late 1880s). Andrew Wald's sand bottles were some of the earliest souvenirs to be sold at Yellowstone.
This sand bottle and original label are in excellent condition, with no shaking or slippage of the sand.
Measures: 6" high
