Offered here is a nicely matted ensemble of a TLS byFDR on Hyde Park stationery, dated January 5, 1933 to the Honorable Franklin Brooksjust after the election and prior to FDR’s inauguration, as President-Elect. The letter is creased as folded, has a coupleof stains and is a bit toned with age, but the signature is bold and clear.The invitation is to a Mr and Mrs Simmons to a receptionat the White House on Feb 21st, 1935. It has the gold embossed seal at the top andis... lightly toned with age. Also we see aphoto copy of President and Eleanor Roosevelt. The matted ensemble measures 14” x 18” and will be mailed PRIORITY in ahard, plastic sleeve for $13.
