I bought a large collection of St. Louis - Shawnee Lodge BSA items a few weeks ago. As time allows I will list all of the items as I am not really a dealer merely a collector. In the group were these OA sashes. I know nothing about them so doing a little search today I learned enough to be dangerous. This listing includes all 4 OA sashes that you see in the photos. I am sure you will have questions so please feel free to ask. I labeled the photos so ...you know what is what. Photos with 1 in them are of the felt cloth backed vigil sash with the large triangle with the clockwise arrows. The sash is intact and complete with some minor mothing but no writing, tears or repairs. It is lightly stained in a few areas as seen but overall a great piece. The photos with #2 in them are of a felt ordeal sash. Again, no significant issues with it either. #3 is an older 1960's? style vigil and lastly #4 is a vigil still sealed in plastic with a price tag of $1.00 on it. The items I purchased were from a long term scouter in Kirkwood, Missouri but no idea if these were earned and awarded by him or where they truly originated from. I do not own any others. Shipping for the lot of four will be $8.00. I received some advice of a high starting bid but instead I have decided to start it at .99 cents giving the opportunity for people to bid and win. Please feel free to ask questions as I am sure I left a lot of important details out. On Aug-09-20 at 18:13:15 PDT, seller added the following information:After listing these I learned that the person's name who owned these was an Alfred L. Bofinger of Kirkwood, Missouri which is in the St. Louis area. I could not find out too much about him but he was VERY active in the 1960's as at least an Assistant Scoutmaster. Ebay will not let me add any additional photos so the ones already here are all I can send. You can send me a message through ebay if you want me to send any others. The two cotton sashes have a double row of stitches along the edges.
