You are bidding on a vintage Sears Roebuck and Company Baby Blue Dual mantle white gas lantern. Model number is 476.74060 and dated 1/67 for January 1967. Similar in construction to a Coleman model 220 lantern (because that's who made it for Sears). This lantern is in unrestored condition and burns strong, loud, and puts out a lot of light. Perfect for camping, hiking, backyard BBQs, display, or emergency use. Comes with original matching carry box, which protected the lantern from wea...ther and damage during storage.Overall good condition. Fuel cap, pump, and check valve in good condition. Fuel font tank has no leaks and only paint scratches and some minor outer rust. Auto striker lighter installed by previous owner and sparks well. New cap gasket, leather pump cup has been soaked in neatsfoot oil. Generator and pricker work well. Minor rust on frame. Ventilator overall good condition, has a minor dent and some chipping around that area on one side as can be seen in the photos. Original red letter Pyrex globe in good condition, no chips or cracks.Steel carry case box has a lot of rust and paint issues but is solid and all original. Carry strap on the top is not broken. This case can be restored if so desired. Fuel tank will be drained and dried prior to shipping.
