Apollo 13 Crew Signed/Autographed " Insurance - Style " Postal Cover NASA

As pictured/described. In fine condition with some mild foxing/toning. An authentically hand-signed by the original Apollo 13 crew (James Lovell, Fred Haise, and Ken Mattingly) postal cover but without any stamps or cancellation.
With the proper stamps and cancellation (& certification) this would otherwise be a good example of what is referred to as a "Type 1" insurance cover with the Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club printing over the cachet. The... autograph styles and their placement for all 3 of the original crew are typical for that period in 1970 and for that type of insurance cover and it's very likely it was signed at the very same time as those that eventually received stamps and cancellations. This particular example for whatever reason didn't receive that treatment.
