If any defects or damage is not visible in the images, it will be detailed in our auction description.Item Description:Up for your bidding pleasure is a Vintage San Marusan Japan Shark 35 S-35 Battery Operated Motorized Tin Speed Boat Toy. This is a fairly rare Japanese tin boat with an inboard electri...c motor, which measures about 10" long. The condition is quite nice overall, with very little wear. The colors are still bright and vivid. The plastic window to the engine/motor is no longer attached, but I can't tell how it attaches to the boat. I don't see anything physically broken, as far as I can tell. I've simply placed it over the hull opening for the pictures. The driver doubles as a lid for the battery compartment, and he drops into place with four tabs that fit into four slots. I'm not sure how he's secured into place either though, and I don't see any mechanism for locking him down. I haven't tested the boat, but I will attempt to do so this week. This is a very nice looking boat, which I'm guessing the buyer will likely not run/use. It'll sit nicely on display, and will be even nicer if you figure out how to secure the clear plastic bubble window (I'm guessing it secures from the inside, but I'll let you figure that out).
