Vintage JBL 127H-1Woofers Speakers Cast Frames L80T, 4410 A US Made. I have beenrefurbishing vintage woofers mostly as a hobby for many years and have soldmany AR, Advent, JBL speakers on eBay as well.  Somehow I have accumulated 6 JBL706G woofers and 8 JBL 124 H2 midrange drivers. Among the collection, I have an extra pair of JBL 127H1 woofers. JBL 127H1 is a most impressive10-inch woofer especially when you compare to the woofers from the famous Advent Loudspeaker andAR2ax.... For one thing, JBL woofer is much heavier with a larger magnet, larger voicecoil and a cast frame and much superior magnetic circuit. See Attached photo.  JBL 127H1 is the exact woofer used in L 80T, 4410A studio Monitor and XPL160A. They both have been refoamed but otherwise are original.. The motors usedin JBL 127-H1 are symmetrical magnetic drive (SMG) design with distortionstypically less than 0.5% even at 95 db, combined with a very high sensitivityof 92 db/2.83 v.  You can read thereview of JBL L 80T, which is anchored by this 127-H1 woofer, from HighFidelity Magazine in the attached pictures.  The DCR is around 6ohms each.   there is no noise nor voicecoil rubbing from playing with these woofers. The dustcaps are original, whichwere not touched during the refoaming process. Other than some minor wrinkles on one dustcap these beautiful woofersare in excellent shape.
