Vintage 81 key mechanical keyboard 5 pin din SMK Monterey blue alps switches. Keyboard not in a case. Condition is Used. Please see images for details. I pulled this keyboard from an all-in-one style computer that was in an office I worked in in 1996. My plan was to make this keyboard part of a lan party traveling gaming system. I never got around to doing this project. After sitting in my closet for almost 25 years I pulled this out just a couple years ago and made a YouTube video abo...ut it. Also put pictures of it on Reddit. We were unable to figure out exactly what kind of keyboard this was. Again this was part of a machine that had a flip down hard metal case with a keyboard that flipped down in the front. It would flip back up and lock in on both sides and you had to use your thumbs to press in and release it. It requires a 5-pin den to PS2 adapter to work on more modern computers. I had thought many times that I would build a custom keyboard case for this thing but I just have not had the time or the patience to pull off such a thing. I have racked my brain many times trying to remember. It came out of an old trucking company and the computer was connected to a printer and only used for printing out bills of laden on an old dot matrix printer.Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
