Note: My badges are genuine, not fakes. My field of scout badge collecting is very specialized and I limit the search to Air Scouting, Scouts in Exile (mainly pre-1989, DP camps, etnic troops abroad), BSA badges of office, Japan and a very few more. Therefore it is normal that I can also offer more of this type of insignia or that I can find the right contacts for it. I am not rich, ...nor am I interested in producing falsehoods. I have been honored with scout awards from Russian, Belarusian and Estonian scouts in the past. Alexey Zacharin and Margarita Suwalow (both ORUR) were good friends of mine, and still keep regular contact with Nick Gileff (NORS) today. I helped Piet Kroonenberg (WOSM historian) to compile information and pictures for his books as well. I have +40 years of experience in Scout collecting so I care very little about your opinion and suspicions. I am not guilty of what others do, so if you don't like what you see, just ignore my sales. If any of my badges are replicas or of doubtful origin, I will detail it expressly, but it is not my usual routine selling these. Regarding air scout badges, 30% of my collection are privates of single troop issues and initiatives. Air Scouting is a difficult program and is not always understood nor supported by associations, so it is normal that sometimes there are no records of these. Remember, A SCOUT IS TRUSTWORTHY!
