***NOTICE*** Due to the advanced age of this system, it is being sold AS-IS. The system works as described below, but it is about 20 years old and there is no way to guarantee that it will continue. Overall The size is between mid and full size tower cases. It will accommodate a full size motherboard and there is a lot of room for airflow. There are two fans on the back, with an adapter for another case cooling fan in front, and yet another adapter in front of the hard drive.
The case is in very good condition with no major dents, scratches or corrosion. There was once a plastic door over the drive bays, but now the door is missing. There are four large "feet" on the bottom that swing out 90 degrees for more stability. This machine is heavy and solid, weighing in at over 38 pounds! There's a lock on the case door, and some keys taped to the bottom inside of the case. I didn't try them, but I assume the keys will fit the lock. It is clean inside - I vacuumed and wiped the interior, although I did not remove all components so you'll find some dust in the crevices. This machine has been unused and stored indoors for the past 15 years so overall it's in decent shape. The system works and was tested using both Windows 98 SE (no updates) and Windows Advanced Server 2000. There is no COA. As mentioned above, it has a new Sony CR2032 CMOS battery ("Use by 2029"). Component Details CD and DVD Drives. The Creative Labs CD-RW was tested by reading a data disk and that worked. The DVD-ROM drive was not working and I fixed it. I tested it by copying a few hundred MB of data from the DVD drive to the hard drive. Maybe it will work for a long time, or maybe it will fail again soon.
Memory. 512MB total = 2 x 256MB Crucial (Micron) PC-133Mhz CL3 (see photo). There is an empty slot on the motherboard for one more memory module.
Dialogic Telephony Board (untested). This card can handle up to four analog telephone lines. There are four RJ45 jacks on the back. The board worked many years ago, but I don't remember how to test it now. I found some software related to it and left it on the hard drive.
Video Card. Windows reports this as "Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64." The model number on the card is 82088A/US
Kingston Ethernet NIC. It works! I tested it by copying files from the network, and browsing the Internet with Internet Explorer 6.
