Up for bid is a fantastic pin set from the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. It's got a sweetheart version of the member pin with seed pearls around the outer edges. That pin is connected by chain to a small quill guard, which ties back to the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. The SAE pin is only marked LGB on the back, but does acid test to be 10K gold. The quill is not real gold. Everything here is in very good condition, with no damage, major wear or missing stone...s. These pins are both (but mainly the SAE one) pretty dark with tarnish, and could use a good polishing. Each pin has a working clasp. The main badge measures only 1/2" tall and by itself it weighs 1.60 grams. A very nice addition to your SAE or vintage fraternity / sorority collection!
